Solid Satin Brass Cabinet Knob

Four knobs in solid brass, brushed to a soft satin rather than polished to a mirror, so the colour stays warm and even and fingerprints do not show the way they do on polished metal. Every one fits every backplate in The Kew Collection, and sits happily beside the champagne crystal knobs on the same run of doors.

Four styles

• Ball 32mm — £16.99. 32 mm ball, stands 43 mm off the door, 15 mm base.
• Mushroom 32mm — £16.99. 32 mm dome, stands 32 mm off the door, 13 mm base.
• Oval 32mm — £16.99. 32 mm oval, stands 27 mm off the door, 13 mm base.
• Oval 38mm — £19.99. 38 mm oval, stands 40 mm off the door, 15 mm base.

Each comes with its fixing screw. Choose a style from the dropdown — the drawing changes to show its measurements.

With a backplate

Every satin brass backplate has a 4 mm centre hole and is 2 mm thick. The knob's fixing screw passes through the door and the plate and into the knob, so the plate simply sits between the two. With a plate fitted, the knob stands 2 mm further off the door than the heights above. A backplate is also the neatest way to cover old screw holes or marks left by previous handles.

Dispatch

These knobs arrive with us in mid-October, so they are dispatched in 3 to 4 weeks. The delivery time shown at checkout runs from the day your order leaves us.

Care

Avoid ammonia-based sprays and anything abrasive. Do not use metal polish on a satin finish — it will burnish the brushed grain to a shine in patches.
