Maison Square Crystal Crackle Mirror Glass Cabinet Pull Knob

A square of mirrored crystal shot through with a fine web of cracks — the effect somewhere between frost on a windowpane and old Venetian glass.

The Maison knob is made in two layers — a mirror-backed base of crystal glass sandwiched with a shattered decorative layer, the whole then cold-sealed by hand so the crackle pattern is captured permanently between the two panels. No two pieces read exactly alike, which is very much the point: this is a technique with a long history in French and Venetian glasswork, and the small imperfections are what give the piece its character.

The body is set into a solid brass mounting boss and threaded for a standard M4 screw (25mm supplied). The sides of the square are polished smooth so the piece feels cool and clean in the hand, while the top face throws light back in fragments. Wipe with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners on the mirrored surface.

Works well in: Glamorous dressing rooms, boudoir-style vanities, Deco-leaning bathrooms with mirrored splashbacks, and the sort of maximalist kitchens where every piece is chosen to sparkle. It also does something interesting against very simple cabinetry — a shot of light on an otherwise disciplined field.

Sizing: Approximately 30mm square (1.18") with a 28mm projection (1.10"). Sturdy in the hand — the weight balances the visual delicacy.
