Charming Crackle Ceramic Cabinet Knob with Chrome Base

Cream ceramic crackle set on a polished chrome collar — cabinet hardware with the softly aged feeling of something inherited.

Each knob is thrown by hand and dipped in a mineral crackle glaze that opens under the heat of the kiln into a fine, uneven network of hairline lines. The crackle is unpredictable by nature, so no two knobs come out identical — every piece leaves the studio with its own web of pattern. Over years, the crackle will darken very gently with use, deepening the piece rather than wearing it.

The ceramic sits on a polished chrome collar, mounted through the cabinet door with a threaded steel bolt. The chrome brings a small, cool contrast to the warm cream of the glaze — a two-material composition that reads modern and traditional at the same time, and settles comfortably into most schemes.

Fit one for a small dresser drawer, or run a whole set across a fitted kitchen or a bathroom vanity.

Works well in: a soft-plaster kitchen with a marble counter, a polished-chrome faucet, and open shelves of pale stoneware — or a coastal bathroom with tongue-and-groove panelling, a linen shower curtain, and a rope-framed mirror. Especially good against calm neutrals: bone, chalk, oat, dove.

Sizing: knob approx. 38mm diameter; total projection around 32mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner cabinet fronts.
