Stacked rings climbing to a flat disc top — the shape of an old straw beehive, and one of the oldest patterns in English cabinet furniture. On a ringed shape a living finish is especially good: the rings stay brighter, the grooves go dark.
Choose your finish
Polished Brass — polished to a mirror and left bare. A living finish: it will warm and patina over time.
Aged Brass — an antique patina, so it arrives already dark. Still bare brass underneath, so it is a living finish: it will continue to darken and settle.
Satin Brass — brushed to a soft sheen and sealed under a clear lacquer. Lacquered: it will not change.
Will it change? Polished and Aged, yes. Satin, no — the lacquer holds it still.

Care
Polished and Aged: a soft, dry cloth, and a metal polish only if you want to hold the brightness. Satin: a soft cloth, and never abrasive cleaners — they break the lacquer down.
