Brassworks Edit Pink Ceramic Mortice Door Knobs with Brass Base

These knobs are turned from a powdery blush-pink porcelain, the color soft and almost dusted rather than sweet, so it reads as grown-up and considered. Each sits on a base of solid brass, and the pairing — cool porcelain, warm metal — gives the set a quietly luxurious, dressing-room feel. The brass is left to develop its own gentle patina, deepening from bright gold to something softer as the years go by.

Every knob is a genuine working turn, not a fixed decoration. The spindle drives the latch with a smooth, weighted action, so the pleasure of the finish is matched by the pleasure of the mechanism — the whole thing feels considered from the first touch.
