Royal Gold Luxury Ceramic Cabinet Knob Set

A small set of ceramic knobs, each patterned in real gold — cabinet jewellery in the truest sense of the word.

Each knob in the Royal Gold set is thrown by hand and finished with an intricate gilded motif — a small painted field of ornamental gold-work on a smooth glazed ceramic ground. The gold is applied by hand and fired into the glaze, so the pattern sits sealed under a hard glass surface rather than printed on top of it — meaning it will hold its edge over years of use.

The set is designed to be mixed rather than matched — several complementary patterns that share a palette and a scale, so a whole cabinet run reads as considered and collected rather than uniform. The base is a threaded steel bolt through a small metal collar, mounted flush to the front. Weight is proper; the drawer closes with a small satisfying click.

Fit a set across the fronts of a small dresser, an entryway console, or a run of bathroom cabinets where a mixture of patterns reads as a curated set rather than an accident.

Works well in: a bohemian dressing room with a rattan mirror, a linen throw, and a stack of art monographs — or a Moroccan-tinged bathroom with zellige tiles, an unlacquered-brass faucet, and a Berber rug underfoot. Especially good against deep, warm wall colours: terracotta, rust, aubergine.
