Crackle Ceramic Cabinet Knob in Bright Colours

Hand-painted ceramic under a fine crackle glaze — a bright, one-of-a-kind knob with the vintage charm of something inherited.

Each knob is individually handmade and hand-painted in a small studio, then finished with a delicate crackle glaze that opens under the heat of the kiln into a fine, uneven network of lines. Because the crackle forms during firing, no two knobs are ever quite alike — every piece leaves the studio with its own web of pattern. The bright colour sits under the glaze rather than on top of it, so it holds fast against years of fingertips.

Fired hard and fitted with sturdy hardware, these are built to be used daily. The rounded dome gives a comfortable grip, and the base is a threaded bolt through a metal collar, mounted with a single drill point. The drawer closes with the small, satisfying weight of real ceramic rather than pressed resin.

Fit one to lift a plain drawer, or mix a whole set across a dresser or kitchen run for a collected, hand-made feel.

Works well in: a Provençal kitchen with a scrubbed pine table and open shelves of glazed pottery — or a boho bedroom with a rattan mirror and a bright rag rug. Especially good against cream, warm white, and painted timber.

Sizing: ceramic knob approx. 40mm diameter; total projection around 32mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner cabinet fronts.
