Frosted glass cut like a dark gemstone — cabinet hardware with the deep, matte glow of a jewel resting on velvet.
Each knob is pressed from a solid piece of coloured glass and given a soft matte finish that diffuses light rather than throwing it back. The face is cut into fine facets — a gem-like geometry that catches the light quietly, in the low, smouldering register of noir rather than the sparkle of clear crystal. The surface is velvety to the touch: cool, smooth, and endlessly tactile under the fingertips.
The palette here is deep and unlit — an inky, near-black that reads as sophisticated rather than heavy. The matte finish is what gives the piece its character: where polished glass glitters, this holds the light like a stone. The base is a threaded steel collar with a single bolt, mounted through the cabinet door with one drill point. Weight in the hand is real; the drawer closes with a soft, considered click.
Fit one to draw the eye on a small drinks cabinet, or run a whole set across the fronts of a dark-painted dresser or fitted wardrobe.
Works well in: a jewel-toned dressing room with a velvet slipper chair, an oval mirror, and a pleated silk lampshade — or a moody study with panelled walls in deep ink, a leather chair, and a brass reading lamp. Especially good against forest-green, charcoal, and oxblood cabinetry.
Sizing: knob approx. 38mm diameter; total projection around 32mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner fronts.
