Moroccan Tile Ceramic Cabinet Knob

A ceramic knob painted with the geometric grammar of a zellige tile — a small piece of Morocco pressed into the front of a drawer.
Each knob is thrown by hand and finished with a painted motif drawn directly from traditional Moroccan tile-work — the interlocking star, the eight-point rosette, the bordered arabesque. The colour is applied under a hard clear glaze, so the pattern is sealed into the piece rather than sitting on top of it, and every knob shows the small variations that come with individual hand-painting.
The base is a threaded steel bolt through a small metal collar, mounted with a single drill point. Weight in the hand is real; the drawer closes with the small, considered click of proper ceramic rather than the hollow tap of pressed resin. Because each knob is finished separately, ordering several gives a curated set rather than a printed run.
Mix and match patterns across a run of cabinet fronts for a genuinely Moroccan-scented feel, or fit one as a small accent inside an otherwise plain scheme.
Works well in: a Marrakech-tinged bathroom with zellige wall tiles, an unlacquered-brass wall-mount faucet, and a Berber rug on the floor — or a warm-plaster dressing room with a rattan chair and a stack of art monographs. Especially good against terracotta, ochre, and deep-green paints.
Sizing: knob approx. 40mm diameter; total projection around 32mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner cabinet fronts.
