Hand-Engraved Resin Owl Cabinet Knob

An owl carved by hand into solid resin — a small sculpture of a wise bird, set into the front of a drawer.

Each knob is cast in solid resin and then hand-engraved by a studio maker — the owl's feathers, face, and rounded body worked into the surface by hand, so every piece carries the small, individual character of hand-carving rather than the flatness of a mould. The detail is tactile: run a thumb across the face and the feather-work is there to feel, not just to see.

The palette runs across rich, earthy tones — deep chocolate brown and warm mauve — colours drawn from woodland and dusk rather than from a paint chart. Durable and comfortable in the hand, the rounded owl form gives an easy, ergonomic grip while standing forward as a proper statement piece. The base is a threaded bolt, mounted with a single drill point through the cabinet door.

Fit one as a story-piece on a child's dresser, or run a small parliament of owls across a nature-themed cabinet run.

Works well in: a child's room with a woodland mural, a rag rug, and a shelf of picture books — or an eclectic study with a leather chair, a botanical print, and a stack of hardbacks. Especially good against warm-neutral and forest-green cabinetry.

Sizing: knob approx. 45mm tall; total projection around 35mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner cabinet fronts.
