Animal Head Ceramic Drawer Knob, Leopard or Zebra

Ceramic animal-head knobs that turn a plain chest of drawers into something to smile at. Use one on its own, pair them up, or mix them with plain knobs. They suit a nursery, a child’s room or a jungle-themed space just as well as a grown-up dresser.

Price is per knob. Choose the animal above: each design has its own photo.

The designs

• Leopard — a cream leopard head shading to amber on top, with black and grey spots and green eyes
• Zebra — a white zebra head with black stripes, black ears and a black muzzle

Where they work

Nursery and children’s chests of drawers, wardrobes, bedside tables, toy cupboards, dressers and kitchen cupboards.

Fitting

Each knob has a threaded M4 insert in its base and comes with a bolt. Drill one hole through the door or drawer front, push the bolt through from the inside and screw it into the knob until it sits firm. If your door or drawer front is thicker than usual, any longer M4 bolt will fit. These are furniture knobs, not toys: fit them firmly and check them now and then.

Sizes

From our size drawings (the last two photos):

• Leopard: 48 mm (1.89 in) wide across the ears, 47 mm (1.85 in) high, and it stands 49 mm (1.93 in) out from the drawer
• Zebra: 27 mm (1.06 in) wide across the ears, 62 mm (2.44 in) high, and it stands 62 mm (2.44 in) out from the drawer
