Personalised Royal Blue Crackle Monogram Coat Hook — Antique Brass

Deep royal-blue crackle, a single letter, warm brass — quietly confident and thoroughly hand-made.

Each tile is shaped and painted by hand in a small ceramic studio, then dipped in a rich blue glaze and fired to open a fine crackle across the surface. The blue is deliberately deep — not electric or navy, but the settled, considered blue of an old lacquered box or a Chinese ceramic vase. The crackle is unpredictable by nature, so no two hooks come out identical.

The chosen letter is painted in soft black before the second firing, and the finished tile is mounted to a solid antique-brass hook. The brass is unlacquered and finished by hand, so it develops a warmer patina with age rather than staying flat and factory-new. Screws and plugs are supplied.

Order a single initial, or specify several to line a mudroom wall with a family name, a house number, or a favourite word.

Works well in: a whitewashed hall with a jute runner and a barn coat on the arm — or a powder room with a wall-mount unlacquered-brass faucet, a linen skirt beneath the basin, and a small mirror in a rope frame. Especially good against cream, oat, or soft-plaster walls.

Sizing: ceramic tile approx. 55mm square; hook projects around 55mm from the wall. Sold as a single letter. Fixings included.
