Genuine mother of pearl set into solid polished brass — cabinet jewellery in the most literal sense.

Each Elizabeth knob is handcrafted by skilled artisans, so no two are ever exactly alike. At its centre sits an inlay of genuine mother of pearl — the iridescent lining of the shell, catching the light with a subtle, shifting glow that changes as you move around it. The pearl is framed by a collar of solid polished brass, warm and richly golden, giving the piece a regal, majestic weight.

Because the mother of pearl is natural, every knob carries its own pattern of iridescence — the small, unrepeatable variations that only real shell provides. The brass is solid rather than plated, so it carries the density and lasting quality of proper metalwork, and will mellow gently with age. The base is a threaded steel bolt, mounted with a single drill point through the cabinet door.

Fit one as a jewel on a standalone cabinet, or run a set across a dressing table, a wardrobe, or a run of drawers.

Works well in: a jewel-toned dressing room with a velvet stool, an oval mirror, and a pleated silk lampshade — or a study with panelled walls in deep green and a leather-topped desk. Especially good against forest-green, navy, and oxblood cabinetry.

Sizing: knob approx. 35mm diameter; total projection around 30mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner cabinet fronts.
