Each ceramic tile is shaped and painted by hand in a small studio, then fired with a mineral crackle glaze that opens under heat into a network of fine, uneven lines. The green sits between sage and celadon — quiet enough to belong beside limewash, sure enough to hold its own against warm timber. No two tiles look exactly the same; the crackle is unpredictable by design.

The chosen letter is painted in soft black before the second firing, so the glaze settles gently around the strokes rather than sitting on top of them.
