Bright polka dots, painted by hand on glazed ceramic — a small hit of colour for a plain cabinet front.

Each knob is thrown and hand-painted individually in a small studio, the classic polka-dot pattern laid down stroke by stroke in vibrant red, green, and orange. Because every piece is painted by hand, no two are exactly alike — the rhythm and spacing of the dots shift subtly from knob to knob, which is part of what gives a whole run its collected, un-machined feel. The colour is sealed under a hard clear glaze, so it holds fast against years of fingertips.

Fired to a durable high gloss and fitted with robust metal hardware, these are built to be used daily rather than admired from a distance. The base is a threaded bolt through a metal collar, mounted with a single drill point. Weight in the hand is proper — the small, satisfying weight of real ceramic rather than pressed resin.

Fit one as a splash of personality on a plain drawer, or mix a whole set across a dresser or kitchen run for something joyful and folk-inflected.

Works well in: a Provençal kitchen with a scrubbed pine table and open shelves of glazed pottery — or a child's playroom with a painted toy chest and a bright rag rug. Especially good against cream, warm white, and painted timber.

Sizing: ceramic knob approx. 40mm diameter; total projection around 32mm. Standard M4 25mm bolt supplied — trim to suit thinner cabinet fronts.
