Papillon Royale Brass and Mother of Pearl Butterfly Cabinet Knob

Shaped as a butterfly with its wings gently spread, each knob is cast in solid brass and hand-finished to a warm, low glow — the kind of soft gold that reads as heirloom rather than hardware. The wings are then inlaid by hand with natural mother of pearl, set piece by piece into a soft iridescent mosaic that shifts between pink, cream, and pale blue as the light moves across it.

Because the shell is a natural material, every knob is a little different — no two mosaics catch the light in quite the same way. The form is softly contoured, easy and pleasing under the fingers, with the quiet weight of solid brass behind it.
