This hand forged coinbase Suffolk thumb latch is made using traditional blacksmith techniques and finished with a natural beeswax coating. The latch is forged from solid iron and assembled by hand to create a strong and dependable door fastening suited to traditional interior joinery. The latch features round coinbase fixing plates, formed by hammering the iron to create a raised edge around the fixing points.
