Caspian Bubbles Clear Round Glass Cabinet Knob

Clear glass caught mid-sparkle — a knob that holds a scatter of tiny bubbles like light trapped in water.

Each sphere is individually handmade, the bubbles set deep in clear glass so that no two knobs break the light in quite the same way — a little imperfect, and entirely deliberate. Turn one in your hand and the surface shifts from crystalline to soft, the trapped air lending it the look of sea glass just pulled from the tide. There is a real weight to it, too, a small cool heft that makes opening a drawer feel like a considered thing rather than an afterthought.

The glass rests on a slim metal base, quietly finished so nothing distracts from the play of light above it. It comes in a small run of colors — warm amber, blush pink, cool aqua green, and plain clear — and each one reads differently depending on the tone of the cabinet behind it, the paler shades almost dissolving, the amber glowing like honey.

Works well in: a bright coastal kitchen against soft white or pale sea-green cabinets — or a powder room with gray-blue walls and unlacquered brass faucets, where the aqua green picks up the water tones. The amber is a favorite over a deep navy like Hague Blue.

Sizing: handmade glass knob of standard cupboard proportions, supplied with a threaded bolt to suit doors and drawers of typical thickness — trim to fit thinner fronts. As each is made by hand, small variations are part of its character.
