Four Leaf Backplate, Solid Brass

A square plate with four concave corners cut into it, so the outline reads as four leaves meeting at the centre. 50 x 50mm, one central hole.

The most decorative plate in the range, and the one that does the most work: on a plain knob it supplies all the ornament, which is why it belongs on a run of otherwise quiet cupboard doors.

This is the piece that lets you build your own: choose a knob, choose a plate, and the pairing is yours rather than ours.

Polished Brass, Unlacquered - polished to a smooth, mirrored finish and left bare. A living finish: it darkens and patinas with handling.
Aged Brass - an antique patina, so it arrives already dark. A living finish; it goes on moving.
Satin Brass, Lacquered - brushed to an even satin sheen, then sealed under a clear lacquer. It stays as it arrives.
Polished Chrome - solid brass, polished bright and chrome plated. Stable, and the only one of the four that will not change.
