A garden snail with a ribbed spiral shell and two little feelers, in polished brass. A charming welcome for a cottage or garden door, and a lovely new home or housewarming gift.

  • Polished brass finish
  • Comes with the fixings shown in the second photo: two threaded fixing bolts and the round strike button

How it works

The snail hangs from its head on a round brass mount. Lift the shell and let it fall onto the separate brass strike button below to knock.

Sizes

  • Snail: 125 mm (4.92 in) tall and 52 mm (2.05 in) wide
  • Round mount: 28 mm (1.10 in) across

All sizes are from our drawing in the last photo.

Fitting

Fit the snail’s round mount first, then fit the strike button below it, where the shell lands.
