The Windsor Collection is our solid brass range — nine cabinet knob shapes, eleven cup pull shapes, pull handles, D handles, hinges and backplates, cast in solid brass and finished by hand in Aged Brass, Polished Brass or Satin Brass.

Choosing a brass finish

Aged brass is warm and softly antiqued, and mellows further with use. Polished brass is bright and mirror-like — the traditional choice for period kitchens and front doors. Satin brass, also sold as brushed brass or brushed gold, is a soft matte gold that suits modern cabinetry. All three are solid brass rather than plated, so they wear gracefully instead of flaking.

Knobs, cup pulls or handles?

Knobs suit cupboard doors and small drawers. Cup pulls and pull handles suit wide drawers and pan drawers, where a knob gives too little to grip. Mixing the two across one kitchen looks considered as long as the finish stays constant — which is the reason the whole collection is built to match.

Fitting a whole kitchen

Most kitchens need a mix: knobs on the wall units, cup pulls or handles on the drawer bank. Take six or more pieces and the price falls automatically at checkout — 5% at six, 10% at twelve, 15% at twenty.
