Lacquered Finishes

Sealed under a clear lacquer.

A lacquered finish is frozen the day it is made. The lacquer sits between the brass and the air, so nothing oxidises and nothing changes. Fingerprints wipe off. It will look like this in ten years.

This is the finish for anyone who would rather stop thinking about it. Satin Brass is the only lacquered finish we make.

One rule: never use abrasive cleaners. They break the lacquer down, and once it goes the brass underneath begins to age unevenly.
